Engaged Session for #Parents of a renowned global school of Surat (Gajera Global School-PAL).

In this highly interactive session, we had discussions on various issues like:

1. Teachers' and Parents are the team members and the child is the captain of the team. Hence team members are supposed to give their best

And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said, Speak to us of Children.
     And he said:

     For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

एक अनूठा विद्यालय, जहाँ शिक्षा केवल पुस्तकों तक सीमित नहीं है! कुछ दिनों पूर्व मुझे एक ऐसे विद्यालय का भ्रमण करने का अवसर मिला, जिसने शिक्षा की प्रचलित अवधारणाओं से बिल्कुल अलग एक अनूठा प्रयोग प्रस्तुत किया। इस विद्यालय की सबसे रोचक विशेषता यह है कि यहाँ छात्रावास तो है, लेकिन विद्यालय के लिए कोई स्थायी भवन नहीं है। विद्यार्थी प्रतिदिन सुबह आते हैं, अपने-अपने टेंट लगाते हैं, बैठने की व्यवस्था करते हैं और फिर दिनभर की शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों में जुट जाते हैं। विद्यालय का पूरा परिसर आम, अमरूद और अन्य फलदार वृक्षों से समृद्ध है। यहाँ प्रकृति ही विद्यार्थियों की कक्षा है और जीवन स्वयं उनकी पाठ्यपुस्तक। यहाँ शिक्षा का अर्थ केवल पढ़ना-लिखना नहीं, बल्कि जीवन जीना सीखना है। विद्यार्थी और शिक्षक मिलकर अगले सप्ताह की समय-सारणी (Time-Table) तैयार करते हैं। इससे विद्यार्थियों में सहभागिता, निर्णय लेने की क्षमता, समय प्रबंधन और सामूहिक उत्तरदायित्व जैसे गुण विकसित होते हैं। विद्यालय परिसर में ट्रैक्टर से लेकर साइकिल तक विभिन्न प्रकार के वाहन उपलब्ध हैं। AC, पंखे, रेडियो और मोबाइल जैसे उपकरणों की मरम्मत...
